Who needs Hand Therapy?

If you are experiencing problems with movement and function of the wrist and hand, seeing a specialist Hand Therapist can help. We can provide individualised treatment plans that utilise movement and strengthening exercises: functional retraining or adaptation or use of splints to improve your symptoms. We work closely with local and respected specialist hand surgeons, including Mr David Shewring, Mr Andrew Logan and Mr Ryan Trickett amongst others.

South Wales Hand Therapy are a group of specialist Occupational Therapists with over 70 years of experience in treating traumatic and acquired hand conditions in both the NHS and the private sector.

We are all registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), are members of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and have achieved Accredited Hand Therapist status with the British Association of Hand Therapists.
